TRADE done, no longer available

Offering this as a complete package. This is the steel framed civilian version of the LAPD swat issue weapons. All the standard bells and whistles - full length guide rod, 30 lpi front strap checkering, night sights, the works.

Gun comes with the factory box and all the paperwork/accessories (bushing wrench, lock, black rubber grips etc)

Gun has been a shooter, not a safe queen, I purchased it used, and have put right around 1500 rounds through it - recoil spring and firing pin spring replaced around 400 rounds ago.

Its biggest flaw is where a gunsmith marred the cocking serration in the rear drifting in the rear sight. When I bought the gun, someone had installed fiber optic sights, I went and bought a new set of the proper Meprolights and had them installed, so the sights are BRAND new.

All pictures are an accurate representation of how the gun looks in hand.

And everyone says it, but I really mean it, this thing can shoot. If you want it to be a small group size gun, it can do it, and if you want a fast action combat style gun - it works for that too. (those mepro sights are really quick to acquire)

Extras:

Mil Tac G10 composite grips with a cutout making it easy to get your thumb to the mag catch button. These grips are really nice, they feel like slim grips, without being slim grips.

A set of Black double diamond longer styled grips for use with a mag well

Ed brown metal straight mainspring housing (installed - the original plastic one is also included)

1 Kimber 7 RD Mag

1 Wilson Tactical 10 RD mag

1 Box of Remington JHP .45 ACP to get you started

I really would like to trade for an FN SLP - that would be ideal, But i'm also open to the idea of a nice, scoped, .308 (but I am a total rifle noob) in the same value range. I have a bunch of 1911s laying around, but if for some reason you wanted to do a 1911 swap where our guns were close to equal in value or one of us came up with cash I'd be willing to look at something like that. (Like you have a les baer, and need to free up some cash, but don't wanna be without at least a decent .45) I'm all full up on plastic guns for now, so no glocks or XDs Though I could be persuaded to take a G21 AND a G17. I would be interested in a 10mm 1911 if someone felt like going down that route. And I would take partial trade value in the form of a Mosberg 930SPX or 590A1 SPX. Oh, I'd also be very interested in an old SXS 10 gauge in shootable condition.

I'm absolutely not interested in: Polymer Autos (except the Glocks mentioned), anything single shot, or anything below .38 special in caliber.

That gives a good pattern of trades I'd be interested, but I am not 100% closed to other suggestions, and I'm not opposed to at least some small amounts of cash that would have to go one way or the other to make us both happy traders, but check my feedback, I'm easy. Edited to add that I can do the trade from Iron Sights up to Ades, and anywhere inbetween there. I especially like the guys at on target and OC armory, but would be willing to check out a new place too.

Any price on an outright sale? All I have is a glock 38 for trade, and it sounds like you're not too interested in anymore combat tupperware. :ack2: I've got the glock posted FS...so as soon as I unload that I'm shoppin for something like this beautiful piece of 1911ness.

I'd prefer to work out a trade, but for just cash, I guess I'd say $930
