The Rifle is in great conditions and it comes with the Original bayonet and ammo pouch I also included 60 Round of 7.62x 54R non magnetic ammo. I just drop the price to $150, this is California and there is DROS fees and FFL fees and to cover for does fees I am dropping the price. Now this will make it a major bargain for whomever wants it.

True. It definately does not look like a M44. Besides, I didn't think they manufactured M44s until 1943.

Question,

This is my very first time selling a firearm, is this correct.
C&R license - within CA - rifle = Cash and carry

JFYI since you're new to calguns, you can only post in your own for sale thread once per 24 hours (marketplace rule 5). If you need to update something or answer a question just update your original post or PM the person asking the question, then when 24 hours are up you can bump your thread with the new info if you want.

Good luck with your sale!

Long guns are not registered, Some places like Big 5 require you to DROS it. So I am going to say, No it does not need to be reDROSed, and correct me if I am wrong, but you also DO NOT need the C&R license, to cash and carry.

Since it does qualify as a C&R long gun in California (it's over 50 years old), it can be sold FTF without a DROS unless a 01FFL is selling it. When you see these at shops (Big5 included), they are required to DROS them. But, I can sell mine FTF, Cash and Carry, all day long. Niether the buyer nor the seller needs a C&R license.

Besides selling FTF as a C&R to any qualifying resident of this state (so long as you are a resident and doing the transaction in CA)...

....you can also sell by any means to another CA resident (except by paypal, which is their rules) then ship it to them by USPS or UPS and such.

Some folks are reluctant to ship due to the statement about only those qualified to own firearms provision which some feel could be interpretted as the seller being liable, if not criminally then at least in a civil court.

I would be comfortable selling to a member here on Calguns that can show he purchased a firearm using this forum that did require a DROS, that way you can be sure that requirement was met and you showed due dilligence.

Selling FTF does not guarantee that the buyer is qualified to own a firearm (not a felon, not dishonorably discharged, etc, etc, and one that some calgun members maybe subject to is the psycho ex wife/girlfriend that files a restraining order just to screw with your firearms ownership because she knows that will piss you off).
