I thought I'd throw up a link here for any new Saiga owners, who want to get a couple of tips on cleaning their rifles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ff68JsxS9xg. Nothing definitive or anything ,but I hope it can help someone out there.

NO NO NO.. I am using a RADD LOCK. When I did the conversion, it looked so pretty that I photo'd just before putting the shackles on. The rifle is fully CA. compliant. I knew someone would catch on that.. haha. Good eye.

Just a note, No matter how cool or pretty it looks please Put the lock on before you put on any evil features. In CA, it's never alright to have a pistol grip and detachable mag if even for second (unless it's registered)

Ok, picture removed. Point was the vid post, not the pic. You are right though of course. The lock went on probably 2 minutes after the pic was taken, and was taken out of state of course.

I do!! But I'm one of those sickos that actually likes cleaning weapons. It feels kinda therapeutic to me. I think it's an ex-military thing.

I'm right there with you. I like the process for some sick reason.

You're like me. I will clean it even if I only shot 40 rounds. I clean longer than I shoot too, lol. By the way, thanks for that video.

Every time you clean your AK, the Kremlin deports a kitten to Siberia. Think of the kitties....

haha.. 40 rounds is probably on the low threshold for me. I need at least 150 before I'll actually break out all of the gear and start cleaning, but a clean weapon is a happy weapon..
