I have a few Glock preban magazines that I purchased in 1994. Is it legal to use them in a newer Glock Pistol? Is there anything that I can do to a Glock pistol that will make the high capacity magazines illegal to use?

There's things you could do that would make the pistol illegal to use, but it has nothing to do with magazine capacity.

Yes.
Uhm...no?

Yes. Age of gun is irrelevant.

If you put - for some crazy reason - a mag lock on that made the hicap detachable magazine regardable as a "fixed magazine that holds over 10 rounds", your Glock would be an assault weapon per SB23. Crazy, huh?

Okay yeah that would do it.

If you put a shoulder stock on it with the high cap magazine you would create a SBR and an "Assault weapon"

oooh and a vertical fore grip. Gotta have one of those. And get a threaded barrel while you're at it so you can attach a flash suppressor.

Also, while you can lend the weapon to someone with an HSC for up to 30 days at a time the magazines can only be used/loaned in your presence.

If you already have a preban glock hi-cap magazine would it be illegal to put on of those grip extensions on it to hold a couple more rounds?

Is it considered manufacturing if you modify and already hi-cap mag to be even higher-cap?

Just curious.

High capacity is greater than 10 rounds, it doesn't matter if it's 11 or 100.

Yes people want to know. :D

So basically if I added a shoulder stock, a bullet button, a threaded barrel with a flash suppressor, and a rail mounted pistol grip, I would have an illegal SBR assault weapon?

What about that little bayonet attachment?

Sweet!!! Just gotta come up with a 100rd beta-mag to attach to a preban pistol mag. LOL

And don't forget the shoulder thing that goes up!

The law defines a "high capacity ammunition feeding device" as one holding over 10 rounds.

There are no levels or tiers of "high capacity ammunition feeding device". In essence, making a 'bad thing' into 'more of a bad thing' is not illegal.

However, I would not be crazy and add a drum to an AR mag - that starts having "smell test" issues.

if you own a large capacity detachable magazine you are allowed to use it in anything it fits

Yup, just don't lock it down with a maglock.

Even in a bullet button equipped OLL?

^No way, no how. That would create a 'fixed magazine holding more than 10 rounds' do not pass go, go directly to jail.
