Mendocino weather in Mid October?

Everyone,

What kind of highs and lows can I expect in Mendocino NF, 3,000-4,000 feet elevation?

Someone at the ranger station told me low in the 40's, but various online sources say lows in the 60's.

The weather is holding steady right now. Don't know what it will be like at the end of Octiber though. 40's seems low. 60's seems right. Daily highs may reach 90.

Mendocino= hot very hot dry very dry days and sometimes dead cold nights. Especially in the lower elevations that ur talking of. Bring lots of ICE and cold ones. You would have to wait til the heavy rains come down and the weather fully changes to winter season before the hot hot goes away.

I've had it snow on me, and I've been baked by the sun.

The snow was a freak occurance, but whenever I go up to camp/hunt B zone I prepare for both.
