Just bought some primers in WA state. They made me show ID and
said it was a new federal law. Is that true?

how old are you?

young looking?

federal law does regulate primer and powder sales in the same manner as ammo sales. So, if you look like you could be under 21, I could see a seller requesting ID to confirm age.

Naw, I just had the 30th aniversary of my 21'st birthday.

They said it was to prevent sales over the border.

i've seen some wird stuff the sports authority in concord make you sign a TSA logbook when you buy ammo cause they say they are on or too close to airport property and it is a fed reg i call BS it sounds real goofy also i reload and when i go and buy powder i have to sign some logbook with id #. cause it is an explosive sound weird to me but not too far but i have not questioned it what is the law?
