Cal-Trans and the Forrest Service has decide to keep the roads closed for two more weeks after that. This is the same tact they tried after the 2002 Curve fire. Our phone calls got the roads opened then. We need to do the same thing now.

Please call and complain to:

Forrest Service Supervisor (626) 574-5200

Cal-Trans (909) 598-1152

basically if we call enough maybe we an wear thei ears out and have them open the road. they can open GMR (glendora moutain road) but they arent. there is no fire back there. the fire on on highway 2 not 39. so call these #'s and lets make them open up one of these roads so that we can do some shootin'!

this should be in the range section, but...Desert Marksman also got a call to close their range due to the fire that is way south of them and already burned through that area a few days ago...Range exec's are apealing the demand....for those that don't know where it is, its on Angeles Forest Highway about 5 miles from the Freeway....Road is closed at Mt. Emma Rd, but people are allowed past the road block to access private property which the range is.....

I scheduled a range for this coming Saturday (Oct 3rd). I've had to reschedule it twice already because of the closures. :banghead: :cuss:

Burro Canyon is now officially open again.

Traffic is subject to a little delay due to the ongoing guardrail repair on Hwy 39.

Burro's number is 626-910-1344.
