The cordova range is a ****hole. The place has little maintenance done on it and you could get a horrible disease just from walking down range to change your target. You can only shoot form the bench there, no standing or prone. The cost is 15.00 and what you get at sac valley is a cleaner range with a higher class of shooter. The wrong crowd can be found at the Cordova range.

Yea the one in cordova is crappy. I've never been to sacvally before. Are they open on the weekends? What's the cost to shot there?
So I assume they will let you stand? That's cool.

LOL! Yea that's true. But still how about sprucing the place up a bit. I've been there only a few times and the last time i went before couple of weeks ago, it about 8yrs ago and the place still looks like a sh*t hole.

When I lived in Stockton there was a range operated by the county east of town at what used to be the county dump. It was commonly referred to as the "Peters" range due to the old town site of Peters nearby. It was a nicely set-up and operated facility for rifle and pistol shooting. The rifle range benches were normally set at 100 yards but could be moved back in 100 yard incriments up to 400 yards. I heard that it was privatised a couple years ago. It's on S. Hewitt Rd. between Farmington and Linden.
