Historically, he likes gun control.

So we're screwed :(

I e-mailed this:

Please Governor Schwarzenegger, veto the Cow palace gun show ban.

It is a peaceable assembly of gun enthusiasts and hobbyists who believe in the right of each person in the nation to keep and bear arms.

All Californians should be allowed the legal buying and selling of firearms whether on state property or not as long as it complies with all federal and state laws, FFLs, background checks, and waiting periods.

These shows are not shown by any study that I know of to be the places where illegal gun deals are transacted.

Thank you for your consideration,

Not true. The only bill he signed on his own initiative was AB-50. He was set to veto Microstamping and the Condor Lead Ammo ban, but dumb politics on our side caused him to sign them both in spite.

If memory serves he's vetoed a version of this bill before.

Regardless of how dumb our politics may have been, if he's signing anti-gun legislature into existence out of spite, then he's pro gun-control.

(Note: This will not prevent me from calling and emailing)

You have no idea how justified his spite was... Remember the positive changes at CRPA? They had something to do with it in the past...

I wonder if a well written letter sent with a box of cigars and spark plugs for his Hummer would tilt the scales?

E-mail sent. Fax sending. . . perpetually. . . .

I pointed out that all laws are obeyed at California gun shows. Also, the tax revenue loss as people drive to Reno for their ammo and accessories is not what California needs right now.
