View Full Version : Any Java experts here?

I have to compile some java code someone sent me, but it's getting a runtime error related to the main method and I'm not much of a code monkey (and the monkeying I do isn't in Java).
I'm sure this would be stupid-easy for someone with any experience to figure out. If you have a couple of minutes to give me a hand please PM me since I'd rather not post the source code.

Alright, I'll sweeten the deal. If you can fix this and you're local to San Jose I'll compensate you with your choice of one of the following.
2 boxes (100 rounds) Blazer Brass 9mm
2 boxes (40 rounds) Remington UMC .223
4 boxes (100 rounds) Federal 7 1/2 shot trap loads 12g
4 boxes (40 rounds) Swiss GP11 7.5x55
4 boxes (80 rounds) Bulgarian 7.62x54R
Or I can just mail you a check for $20 (or mail it to CGF if you'd prefer) if you're not local or don't want to bother with the ammo thing. If you know Java I'll bet it won't take you 10 minutes to laugh at my ignorance and throw in a couple lines of code.

Sorry Not a Java expert, but I did stop by a Starbuck's today.:D
I'm certainly not a Java expert, but I just recently completed a Java programming class. What kind of program is it?

I'm in the same boat but if it's still not fixed pm me the source code and I'll give it a whirl.

Can you run it and get a trace to a specific point in the code? If so, post the code and stack trace and maybe I can figure it out.

If you should have problem with to compile the java code. Then compile the java code with following way,
1) compile Javac (name of the class).java
2) Then make some .class files in your folder
3) Run with Java (file name)
