The next So-Cal Beltfed Shooters remembrance & benefit shoot will be held on September 12th, 2009 @ Lytle Creek Range (www.lytlecreekrange.com)

We are proud to host this event and proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warriors Center at Camp Pendleton, CA. We are pleased to be able to help our returning Wounded Warriors any way we can.

We invite you come on out for a great cause, shoot some beltfeds or just hang out with us & talk about beltfeds, fun guns and remember all those lost on 9/11 and since in the war on terror.

While we sit here at home, there are men and women standing by ready to do extreme violence and to die if necessary for our country so we can enjoy the freedoms that so many still seem to take for granted.
We hope you will join us, help hold up our 20'x40' 50 Star and 10'x20' 48 Star flags and help support The Wounded Warriors Center @ Camp Pendleton.

Bring a few extra $$$ and/or any trading gear ya got. There will be plenty of goodies/deals around and we like to barter. C&R stuff especially (see longhair on twin mount -aka me!)!

GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!

Sorry for the late notice/thread posting here on Cal Guns for our 9/12 beltfed shoot. My bad! :(

Hope you can join us again for a great day of beltfed shooting and help us raise money for The Wounded Warriors Center @ Camp Pendleton. All our donations stay right here in CA to assist OUR wounded troops right here in So-Cal!

Happy Labor Day to all and hope to see you at the range!

I have never been but a friend and I are interested in going. Do you have any more info? Like start time, entry fee, and can we bring our own guns also? (ar's and pistols)

Thanks

I have the feeling I'm going to get the flu and have to call out on the 12th. You know, that Swine Flu has been pretty bad lately *cough, sniffle*

There will be plenty of experienced beltfed shooters to help you get your build going.

As far as when to get there, if you come between 8-10:00am you should be able to get a good spot. After 10:00 you might have to try to squeeze in to the line somewhere. Remember that you will need to bring your own shade, chairs, benches, tables, food and drinks. Lytle Creek is pretty primative on the private ranges, but they do allow bi metal jacket ammo and rapid fire (no one shot per second BS limits).

Not that it is a big deal, but a fyi: The Lytle Creek web page isn't up to date on prices. It is actually $13 for shooters over 13, $8 for shooters under and $3 for non shooters. Now, I'm posting this presupposing the OP doesn't have a special arrangement with the Range.

I just received this info from Jeff, the manager the other day in reference to the Townhall we are holding there on Sept. 26.

You guys have fun!

This was some much fun.
Lots of belt-feds and some RAWs.

Must buy a CA legal semi-auto only RPD. :43:

I just happened to be at Lytle Creek with some friends and couldn't help but notice your tent after someone fired the .50.. what a head turner. I watched the 9/11 flag ceremony and would like to thank you for what you are doing for our troops. Good job, and BTW that was the biggest flag I've seen in my life.
