:confused:Just got my Yugo 59/66 and I'm wondering if its CA legal to put in a Tapco T6 style stock since its a fixed mag gun??

Also if an sks-d accepts AK mags, is it legal to run them in CA as long as they are 10rd mags??

Thanks guys!:gunsmilie:

The SKS-D with detachable mags is in a class by itself and a no, no in California. The sie of the mag doesn't make any difference! As far as changing the stock goes, you'll need to change a few other parts as well just to stay legal on the federal level! Try searching "922(r)" and "SKS" first. Then, if you still don't understand, ask detailed questions.

I don't think you can have a detachable magazine on an norinco sks in CA, also if you put a tapco pistol gripped stock you have taken the sks out of it's original sporting configuration you will need to make it 922(r) compliant per federal law.

Here is a link to help you out with keeping it 922(r) compliant.

is there any type of bullet button for an sks? Technically you could put the magazines on it if that keeps it in a fixed mag configuration right?
