So here is my newest toy that took some cash to put together but I think it was worth it.. I’ve still got a list of things I need purchase (Muzzle brake & scope) but until then this will haft to do in defending the homestead..

Builders notes:
The Calguns / Kaiser lower is fibulas!. Everything fit perfectly! I’ve stocked to have added this to my collection and I cant think a more worthy caliper to have on a Calgun lower than a Cal legal .50 cal!..

Thanks for your time and have a great one everybody..

P.S.
For what it's worth I installed the new (as told to me buy the gun shop LOL) Radldlock, this way I just turn the inner srew 6 times when I'm out of state and it will work without as it should.

Looks nice man! Love the lower.

What sight is that? Good/bad/comments? Ive been looking at the Sig Holo's for my rifle. I like how they are not all bulky like some of the others.

looks good! quick AR noob question ?? the lower isnt marked .50 anywhere that I can see

I always thought the multi cal stood for either .223/.556.... I didnt know you can interchange stripped lowers with larger caliber uppers? or am I wrong in my azzumption

the stamping on the lower has nothing to do with what upper you put on it.

Thats the beauty of the .458 as you can use a 30 rounder USGI AR mag, mark the bottom floorplate 10 round .458 socom and its a "legal" 10 round .458 socom mag with a minor modification to the lips of the mag. They feed straight through the regular mags and I think the only potential thing you need to swap out is a buffer spring. I wonder how one of those enedine hydraulic buffers would do in one of these things?

looks very nice. i got a beowulf also and if the calguns lowers were available when i built it i would have gotten one for it. i just got to shoot mine for the first time a couple of days ago and its surprisingly tame with some 600gr hand loads i did.

I'd be interested to see how the CTR stands up to the pounding. IIRC, CG mentioned that .50 Beo eats collapsible stocks for breakfast....

Hey Mike,
Well I bought the sight as an impulse purchase at the gun show last weekend, I paid $75 bucks for it when I should have put that money towards some magpul fold down front and rear sights. But a buddy was there and he thought it was WAY COOL, it offers 4 different sighting adjustments in size and shape and well the bastard talked me into it. My gut was telling me NO!!! but you know how it goes, you reach down grab you balls and pay for it later.. hahahhahaa..

When I got home I jumped on Google and discovered itís a paintball sight. It made by AIM sports inc (www.aimsportsinc.com) # RT4-01..

As it stands now if I can have 50í yards of quick response sighting with it Iíll be stocked!! Personally I give it 10 rounds before it toast with the .50..

Thanks for the comments and compli have a great one Sir

Thats so awesome. Youre making me wish i had kept mine.

Thanks Man.. Iím sorry to hear you sold yours, hopfuly it was worth it..

Have a great one

how does she shoot? :)

Wish I knew!! I just got my lower Friday and I built the whole thing yesterday, I was fun day for dad as you can imagine..

beautiful rifle....now if i could just find some ammo so i can finally shoot mine!

Thanks man, I know ammo is ***** to find but it is out there, plus Iíve already ordered up some reloading supplies so Iíll take care of myself and load and shoot all I want.. Best of luck in your hunt for ammo..

Let the pounding begin!;)
Nice rifle.:)

Thanks! And Yes!! Iím looking forward to it trust me as soon as these fires die down Iím out of here for some testing.. Iíll be video tapping the results for the team to see.

True!, but its one hell of conversation piece at the range.. LOL.. Yes folks if you buy the one and only one true Calguns lower you can have a true multi caliper platform that is capable of shooting the following rounds:
223
556
410 shotgun shell
.50 Beowulf

And yes if you act now while theyíre available you too can own one for the unbelievable price of $140.00 LOL. Lol.lolÖ

Thanks man.. WOW youíre loading up the big boys!! The 600gr.. congrads.. please post some pics and or start a thread in the reloading section.. I would love to see / read about it..

Very cool..

Whats the recoil like on this.

I wish I could tell you.. I just finished it yesterday and with the fires going I wont be shooting it anytime soon..

Yes Iíve been told that too, but then again Iíve been told a lot of things in the past and for some strange reason, I still like to find these things out for myself.. Trust me Iíll let you know how it holds up or how many rounds it took before it breaks, with pictures.. I did upgrade my buffer and spring to a H2 so Iím thinking that should help with some of it. I know a muzzle break will too but I just donít have the $200+ bucks that costs at the moment..

Hey team:
Thanks again for your time team and all of the comments and the compliments, itís always fun to look at and discuss gun porn.. ..

Have a great one everybody.

for what it worth:
Here is the muzzle break Iím thinking about putting on it.

Whats the recoil like on this.

granted thurs. was my first time shooting mine but it was like holding a .223 loosely. first words out of my mouth were "wow..... thats it? thats nothing." i only got a chance to use my 600gr rounds and there is very little powder behind it so not much kick. the 350's that i have are supposed to be a lot more like a slug from a shotgun.

tdc57: i need to out to the range again to try all the other rounds ive made before i start giving any real advice on loading these things. so far first batch worked but not enough oomph to lock the bolt back. in the long run reloading is going to be the only option. i also have the same stock and the magpul sights. we'll just to wait and see how they hold up.
