I finally found an ammo place that sale surplus plinking ammo, usually I have to wait for the Cross Roads gun show to get ammo, Now no more wait. And his prices are competitive with online places like Ammoman. The place I found is Ammo Bros in Cerritos, off othe the 605 just pass the 91 fwy. I Picked up some South African 308 for $28.95 for a battlepack of 140 and 200 rnds of UMC remington for $39.95. Not bad considering frieght charges these days. Larger quantities have reduce price. I'm stocked on 308 and 223 but didn't want to go digging for it in the garage, so this ammo will do for on the way to the range. By the way, everything went boom and no malfunction. FYI.

PS: I am not affiliated with Ammo Bros

You didn't happen to see any Port .308 there, did you?

I've been there, they are pretty cool. They actually used to post here but they were being bashed for promoting their business here so they seemed to drift away.

The prices are decent enough if you figure in shipping. And I'm surprised no one mentioned it but they do plan on selling firearms in the not too distant future.

Last gun shop I've seen open in LA/OC area was in 1999 so I'm glad to see this.
