Good enough for government work!!!!

Buy it! Don't hesitate! Now if you have your mind set on spending more money then go right on and do it. Otherwise save a few bucks, buy the YHM and get ammo to shoot!

you're asking yhm owners, of course you're going to get a biased opinion....

mostly true. however if you owned one and hated it and sold it or it jams every 10 rounds or it exploded. I want to hear that.

If one never owned one (or shot one a lot)how much is thier opinion worth. unless they are a gunsmith and seen problems with them. other qualifications are accaptable to me. but the key is qualification to comment on thier work.

I have model 7100 (lightweight quad rail). 500 rounds with no problems at all, fits great on my CMMG lower.

I have a Vintage Colt and a YHM upper on a Colt Lower, one can hardly tell
the two apart from a functional standpoint.

I have a custom heavy barrel 11.5" YHM upper with their quad rail. It's been superior so far. It's mounted on a RRA lower. Tight as a drum.

YHM will do pretty much any custom job you want if you ask them. What they have on their website is only an example of what they can immediately sell you.

Here's my 14.5" on the left on a Spikes lower. About 1K rounds down the tube. Absolutely no issues. Not a 1st tier quality upper like Noveske, but good enough for my needs.

I can't comment about the upper, but I don't like their BUIS I bought some and they seem to have a LOT of wobble to them, they don't stand up nice and tight.

I finally joined the YHM club. perfect fit with the KD lower , my first built and the BUIS are solid with no wobble.

I had the smooth carbine that I bought from riflegear and it ran flawlessly. Never had any failure of any kind. I don't remember how many rounds went down it but it shot where I pointed it and would like to buy another someday.
