Wow, guess he did sell out fast. I checked with Allied Armory first and then Midwest PX.

I did order two though, and I'm up in the bay area norcal-ar, let me know if you want to borrow the extra one for a spell when I get them in.

I should have ordered more, all my friends were azzedout. So give us a heads up, I can do with a few more.

i would much rather prefer an alumanium or SS type BAD. i have one from phase 5 tactical. (http://www.phase5tactical.com/g_products/ebr.html)great part. and they have 2 kinds one that is bolt on and another that replaces the standard bolt release completly

hope these fix the "bolt no hold open" problem I'm having with my current device.

Phase5 has some issues in some guns not all....they do not allow the Bolt to hold open after the last round. I have experienced this too.

By the way, the Magpul Bad is Aluminum. The prototypes were not.

That's it.
It closes on 1/2 1/3 last rounds fired. I like the products use, just not the failures, actually it worries me.

well the tango5 solved my problems....I did a weight comparison in another thread.

Weights...

Tango5 -7g
EBRv1- 18g
EBRv2- 30g

BAD- TBA

Keep in mind though that with the EBRv2 it has the integrated bolt catch so all that weight is distributed differently.

I read that post. For whatever reason mine doesn't work. Maybe with some effort I could get it to function.
As i'm sure you understand weight isn't everything. It also depends of where that weight is in relation to the center of gravity.
2 grams at the end of a lever creates far more force than than 2 grams in the center of a lever.
I'm hoping the dimensions on the magpul are such that it performs more consistently.

Here is another good read....Rob_s says he has had the issue before as well. In this article, he claims a loss due to the EBR not locking the bolt back during a head to head match....

Yessir; I just got back from the UPS hub and dropped them off. Again, my apologies for the delay; my supplier mis-shipped for the first time in the six months we've been doing business.
