Ok, so I was thinking the daewoo dr-200 isn't on the roberti-roos law but it is very similar to the ar, except that it cannot take ar uppers. The dr-200 would be legal if it were fitted with a fix mag wouldn't it? Looking at the pictures, wouldn't it take down like an ar-15 just with a different upper, or maybe like the fab-10 or vulcan? Heres a pic, if you don't know what it looks like:

Ok. I found more info on the daewoo dr-200.
Apparently it does take down like and ar. Breaking it down like a shottie in other words.

Heres a link with pics and all

I know it would be illegal with its detachable magazine format, but I wouldn't be illegal in a fix mag version. Correct?

wtf, daewoo makes everything....

I've seen Daewoo cars, a/c units, refrigerators, restaurants, hotels, cargo ships, and MORE.

And I know they're all the same company...they use the same picture logo...

I would think the Daewoo would be legal if you could figure out a way to shoot it without a Pistol Grip.

Unfortunately Dumbhole stocks are considered pistol grips in this state.

I don't see why not. I would get a nice DOJ letter or best yet send them an exemplar with which to fiddle.

Furthur; since the Cali DOJ has approved the FAB-10-like Evans-modified "Bushmaster XM-15s*" with welded mag wells, just about anything with a fixed 10-round mag should be fine.

*=THE "BUSHMASTER XM-15" IS ON THE SB-23 LIST! This severely undermines sb23 itself.

I have owned a Daewoo, they are a great rifle. I find them to be as accurate as any semi auto I have ever owned. The only better semi auto I have fired is the BAR in 30-06. The top break is easy to open and they use colt mags. I just wonder how you would use a stripper on this type of mod. I would think its totally legal with a fixed magazine much like the FAL.
