If I become a California resident do I have to register my rifles? I know handguns are required but I wasn't sure about the rifles.

Not a requirement, but you can if you like.

ok good. Have a couple that are California legal but not here and bought them legally so I wasn't sure if I had to register them in California or not. I saw the gun ownership form and the handgun form on the state website.

That brings the question as to whether the rifles in question are what the CA nitwits call "assault weapons"....which you CANNOT register or bring into CA.

Walk into the high school bgym and see "Go NUTS!" on the wall. Bust a Nut and Go Nuts are all yelled at football games.

Can't be blue nuts...school colors are yellow and gold. Never thought about Acorn as A.C.O.R.N.

I'm just glad I don't have to register my AR15 here.

Don't forget to install a BB in that "AR15".

Maybe you should check out the flowchart (http://www.calguns.net/caawid/flowchart.pdf) if you haven't seen it yet...

And also don't forget to check to make sure that your lower isn't banned by name. You can check the list on the above mentioned flowchart.

"If you become a California resident" you will have to get rid of your large capacity (over 10 rounds) magazines. Unless you are saying you've lived here for 10 years without becoming a resident.
