Im looking at getting my CCW and followed the link to where you can carry. Not that would want to, since i'll probably just be having fun. But are you allowed to carry while on a cruise that leaves and arrives in the same state that you are registered?

I have taken a few cruises and the answer is most definatley no! While I am not sure of the legal issues involved they really don't matter as a cruise ship is private property.

As such they can restrict firearms if they choose and I no of know cruise line that will permit firearms on board their ships!

Getting on a cruise ship is a LOT like getting on an airplane.

Since virtually all cruise ships are registered overseas, you are in essence leaving the United State once you exit territorial waters. They make the law and the ship's captain is king.
