How much slack is there before the trigger sear releases, how crisp is the release, and how much over travel is there after the trigger releases?

Basically I'm trying to figure out how easily it might be to shoot with accuracy a the Sig P250, in 9mm?

I own a P239, but I have shot a P250 at the range. Both have excellent triggers in DA. It really comes down to how good your trigger control is, although that could be said of any gun I suppose. If you plan to CCW, the DAO is a great choice. If you plan to target practice/plink, the DA/SA is probably a better choice. This drill helped me a lot learning DA triggers:

A DAO will make you a better shot in the long run, but some find the learning curve frustrating. If you can accept that, then you will be as happy with a Sig DAO as any other. Perhaps moreso, as IMHO Sig makes a very nice gun indeed :-).

The P250 DAO trigger has a long pull, but releases very crisply. I have 400 rounds down the pipe on my compact 9mm P250 and have been hitting the 10 ring consistently with a few in the 9 ring at 7 yards.

Mine has a long pull also don't think there is much over travel. Very crisp break, went through 800rds, on a good day, I can get 6" group @15yds so it's more accurate than I can shoot.

I have a P250 in .45. The trigger pull is long, but the break is very crisp. If you pay attention to the pull, you can shoot it very accurately.

How far does the trigger travel rearward after the gun fires?

Here are 100 rounds at 7 yards on B27. 11 were in the 9 ring.

I measure 7/8 from front of trigger to back of trigger guard and the trigger is 1/4 inch thick. Hammer falls at when the trigger is a the back of the guard, hence the trigger pull to fire on my P250 is (7/8-2/8) = 5/8 inch travel.

I shot 500 rounds pretty much non stop in about 1 1/2 hours as a part of a torture test. The psitol had about 15,000 rounds without lube or any maintenance. I hit about 80% in 10's and X's and the rest in 9's on B27 traget at 25 yards. It was shooting good and no malfunction. It was very pleasant to shoot. I liked it.

The ones I ve had here seem to shoot very nice and accurate. The trigger is a little long for what I would like, but smooth and crisp.
