It took a year long search but I finally have my new Kimber Compact CDP. Sorry about the photo quality but this was the best I could do tonight. The Kimber seems to be the only CCO format alloy framed 1911 available in the PRK and somehow I think she'll do just fine.

From the top right: S&W PC1911; Springer (precursor to the Mil-Spec); Kimber Compact CDP; early Kimber Ultra carry.

Nice looking pistol but did Kimber have to put "Custom Shop" on the side of the pistol? I have 3 Kimbers and the last thing I want on the pistol is to advertise their so called custom shop......Geez give me a break!

I just bought a Kimber Ultra Carry II. Crimson laser sights are great. This is my second Kimber. You won't be dissapointed! Congrats and have fun with her!

I've got the CDP Compact as well. Its my main CCW gun. Your gonna love it! Just don't use magazines with metal followers.
