So let's say we start a stable with the five best pistol you've ever sold. What would they be?

For me, in no particular order, it's:

Customized Springfield Loaded (Barsto barrel, trigger job)
HK P7M8
4" Colt Python
Springfield TRP Operator
Sig 226ST

All nice pieces, to be sure. I'm actually shedding tears as I type....:(

So far for me it has just been one... I just sold her recently because I need $$$. S&W610 Prelock with the round combat grips :(

Deal

Any of the fine Pythons I have sold

Any of the fine Sig's I have sold

Any of the fine S&W revolvers I have sold

The few Colt and SA 1911's I have sold

The one Wilson Combat I let get away

6-10 would include Kimbers, Baby DE's, assorted S&W Performance Center guns, a couple of Seecamps and a COP.

To have to name five individual guns would be impossible for me. I remember every gun I have sold and wish I could buy them all back. Not very practical. All of them have been great guns

I've also sold a S&W 1911, RIA 1911, and a S&W 629 revolver, none of which I miss too much. Wouldn't mind having the 629 back for the boom-factor.

I guess I can only post top 2.

I have never sold a pitol, or a long gun for that matter. I did donate one to a cause to raise money, but being a SW XD 45, I don't think that counts. :)

I've only sold 3 pistols, a W.German Sig P230, a S&W 520 (7 shot) and a Jennings J-22. The only one I regret selling is the Sig.

I wondered why you sold that. IIRC it was sold here, and it was at a good price too.

For me, so far none of the guns I sold are worth mentioning. Good ones, I try my darnest to keep with me.

Luckily, only 2 counts of seller's remorse:

EAA Witness .40
Ruger SP101

Had a TEC-9 and a PM11/9 back in the day, but don't regret getting rid of 'em. Kinda junky. The trigger bow broke repeatedly on the PM, and the firing pin hole on the TEC-9 mushroomed out. No, I didn't dry-fire it.

Don't ask about rifles...that's a different story. :(

lol....

I was young and naive back then. The Gun store I frequent then R and J Guns, probably some people remember them were spreading FUD. Forgot to mentioned that I sold my Bushy XM 15 also because they told me that If I registered it that they will eventually take it away which was a bunch of BS. NEVER AGAIN.

I was just thinking about this the other day, and kicking myself in the backside, as a couple off this list came to my mind.

** Python 6" blue, I already had one, traded into this and figured "what do I need another one for?"
** S&W 27-2 6", went looking for a 5" that I really wanted, don't have it yet.
** S&W 58 nickel, first owner and wish to god I had it now.
** S&W 14-1 6" inch blue, had the smoothest action I've ever owned.
** S&W 19-2 and 19-3 2.5 inch, felt stooopid after trading the first one I bought another then foolishly traded that for a 1911 I no longer have.

If I was drinking a beer right now, there would be a tear in it becaue the list goes on and on including S&W 29 and 57, Colt 1911's and a particularly sweet old model Ruger Single Six.
