A Bren ten thread on the board got me to thinking about the venerable Coonan .357. I know they were produced in about 1983, but I don't know how long they were in production, but since we're flirting with the 25 year mark, shouldn't they be C&R now like the Bren Ten?

What was the production run on these, and what about getting them C&R status since I know they are not on the KA approved list?

Coonan arms was finally dissolved in Sept. 1998.

Dan Coonan is coming back with a new gun... possibly late fall of this year.

The Coonan website (coonaninc.com) has a new logo.

also in CA just because it's 50 years doesn't mean it is a c&r too correct? or I am just getting confused because I know some fed c&rs aren't CA c&rs

You are doubly confused. 50 yeas of age is C&R in California too. That's because everything that the Feds say is C&R is automatically C&R in California too. California only uses the Federal definition of C&R.
