I am looking as well, and live in North Orange county close to corona.
Dont mind a drive out to Moreno valley if he is so highly recommended.
If what I get is an old rifle, say a 1915 mosin nagant, do I still need to to DROS it or does the 50 year law apply?

If what I get is an old rifle, say a 1915 mosin nagant, do I still need to to DROS it or does the 50 year law apply?where's it coming from? Out-of-state or from a CA-dealer? If so, it must be DROSed through a local FFL. If in-state from another CA-resident, then it can be cash-and-carried.

RifleGear in Costa Mesa...http://www.riflegear.com (http://www.riflegear.com/)...excellent customer service!

Out of state transfer - $75 which includes the $25 DROS
+ $15 ea. additional long gun/ receiver
+ $35 ea. additional handgun/ frame

I've transferred 3 long guns from out-of-state with them (AK-47, M-76 Sniper Rifle, AR-7 Survival Rifle). They are one of the best OLL friendly shops around!

How about North LA county? Seems like all of the ones recommended here are in Riverside or OC.
