For sale is a factory Para-Ordnance complete, fitted top end for a Gov't 1911 in 9mm. The frame has been used for another project and these are the parts that remain. It has about 2200 rounds of Fiocchi FMJ through it.

Here are the details:

Bomar Adjustable Rear Sight (Black)
Dawson Precision Fiber-optic Front Sight (Red)

Factory "POWER" Extractor
Factory Full-length 1-piece Guide Rod
*EVERYTHING INVOLVED WITH THE TOP-END*

Everything you need in one package and ready to be fitted to your frame. 9mm is cheaper to shoot and great for training purposes. This is your opportunity at buying a complete top-end that simply needs to be fitted to your frame.

$300 FIRM shipped to CONUS *REDUCED TO $275!* SOLD. Cosmetically 9.5/10. Bomar rear sight is a little loose but that can be taken care of. Please PM me with questions or if you are interested.

Thanks,

Brian

So will a 9mm 1911 mag fit into a standard .45 1911 frame?

So will a 9mm 1911 mag fit into a standard .45 1911 frame?

I have both a Springfield 1911 in 9mm and 45ACP and they fit either/or. Your frame will have to be cut however for a Clark/Para ramped barrel which a gunsmith can do.

To answer some of the questions that have been coming in via PM's, yes, it can be fitted to a standard 1911 single-stack 45ACP frame. The magazines will also work. A few things will have to be changed however:

*The ejector will have to changed
*A Clark/Para cut will have to be made on your frame to accept the barrel.
*A new slide stop will have to fitted.

Once all of the above has been done, you are on your way.

Thanks,

Brian

Thanks! Yeah, I think the idea of having the frame cut to accept a Clark/Para ramped barrel has some people a little confused and scared. Gunsmiths charge anywhere from $40-$60 for this service. For more information on ramped barrels, please see links below from Schuemann:

Ramped barrels are a GOOD THING regardless of the caliber. Please let me know if you have any questions.
