I want to extend my collection and narrowed it down to Glock 23 and FNP40. Having in mind that I already have a Glock, what would you recommend at this point? Being mostly into striker fired handguns, does FNP provide a very 1911-ish SA trigger experience? How is the FNP trigger in general?

Still thinking if should wait for it's RTF2 version. I like the feel of that grip.

FNP trigger is similar to Sig.

It has creep in SA mode when I shot one.

I would go G23 due to the fact you can get conversions and switch off calibers.

Also Be wary of Cracked Fire Controls in the FNP-40. They have resolved it but there might be a few flawed units floating around.

i went to the store to get a g23 a month or so ago and wound up talking myself into a 229. boy do i regret it. could have gotten a g23 and a g19 for what i paid for the 229 and the 229 is very dissapointing to me. in my view the g23 is very close to the perfect "allarounder". it will be my next purchase if i can shake this 1911 bug i just caught.

I was just playing with a FNP-40 yesterday, and I went right back to the G19.

Go rent them both and see what you think... (btw, I have a Glock already too).

i disagree. the fnp-40 trigger is nowhere close to a sig. glock all day.
