Gene mentioned that it would be good for people to attend the hearing in Sacramento scheduled for September on the Sykes MSJ.

Sacramento is far away from San Diego. What are chances of the hearing actually happening on the appointed day, and that the audience will actually see any of the legal work? Or will there most likely be only "in chambers" deals or some kind of postponement?

I do believe it will be an historic case when it occurs. But is it feasible to schedule time off from work to make the trip based on it having a scheduled court date?

Thanks. And thanks to all involved in getting this case where it is!

My suggestion is to check with the attorney first. Hearings get continued at the last minute all the time for any number of reasons.

Once we know when the Nordyke en banc is, then the Sykes hearing will be set in stone. Alan Gura will be flying in from DC. Also, this is real oral argument so you will observe 95% or more.
