Winds were a bit calmer than last week.
I started with my larue stealth but I didnt save any targets or pics,
Here is my Stag Varminter with my 77gr smk loads
the usual 24 gr varget CCI # 400 primers LC brass
100 yrds very light wind 2-4 mph or so.

Roughly 1 -1.25 moa groups
then I shot the same with wolf primers 4 shots
first was off left, the next 3 were better

what kinda optics are you using if any?

Im closing my eyes and holding my breath before i squeeze the trigger..
jk
its a Vortex crossfire 6-24x50 from http://www.libertyoptics.com/index1.html

its a great bang for the buck optic.

I think the only issue is that my larue mount is 1.5 2 or even 2.5 inches above the bore so i have to adjust alot..
Im not too happy with the turrets as they have some wiggle room.
I also like the bigger turrets with precise clicks.
but it works.

I also had to switch the same optic between the larue upper and the stag varminter. I have a 10x40 bushnell that i orig had for the varminter but I think I should get another better scope for it.

your vertical dispersion looks good, I'd call the load done

24 gr of Varget and the Sierra 77 has been a staple for a long time

were you at Chabot or USI?

USI, from 910am to about 1230, the last 45 mins was on the pistol side.

Weigh your bullets and group them by weight, cases also.Do 20 at a time and see if the groups size downward a bit.I was a sierra bullet man for years and years until I realized that hornady did better in my rifle.Try other brands close to the same weight.

How far off the lands are you seating the bullets? ten to twenty thou off the lands are usually the sweet spot for SMKs. As for weighing the cases and bullets, that won't do anything for you closer than 600yds...

100yds,RRA Elite comp 16" barrel 1-9 twist.
68gr hornady hpbt.
I don`t have pics of the RRA Varmint 18" targets yet,but they appear to be one 30 caliber hole.
