Saw one at a shop yesterday, marked LE only of course, for $625.

If someone had one to PPT here in CA......how much would you pay for it?

$625 is about what I would pay for one. I don't see it as huge enough improvement over the XD to warrant a huge price increase. Just my $.02 though.

Can't wait!

Ya people will pay it.
Me? Glocks run for 500 here so I would need to see an XDM for 450 to persuade me:25:

I paid about that for one in NC, its about msrp with no markup. I certainly wouldn't pay a premium from a dealer taking advantage of the fact you can't buy them here.

510, you clearly haven't shot one because the XDM is worth more than 450. It's alot better than a standard Glock

The only reason I would get an XDm is for the 19 round magazine capacity. And since we live in good ol' California, that dream is just that, a dream. I already own 2 XDs anyway so besides the aesthetic differences, I dont see myself getting another. BUT if I lived in a free state, for $625 most definately I would own one already :61:

The XDm is an awesome gun. Very ergonomic. I sure wouldn't pay over $750 out the door for one.

I would pay no more than MSRP for it

MSRP is 600 for the black and 650 for the two tone I beleive.

MSRP only, I understand supply and demand and people will pay more for this gun because it is non roster. Its just not worth more than MSRP in my book.

Since the increased mag capacity means nothing in CA then I don't see the point in paying over MSRP. Maybe even UNDER MSRP considering that if it were to be PPT'd it'd most likely be used.

XDs were fine the way they were. Increased mag caps are nice in the states that can have them, otherwise I see no real improvements.

Well hopefully the CG court filings will soon nullify the list... I bet you CA gun shops would price gauge us for at least 6 months if the flood gates opened up, even if supply was good.

I'd pay $700. Do it. ;) :D

I was just curious since everyone seems to drool over them.

I'd pay $200 for one.

It's like "The Price is Right." No one wants to over bid, Bob. :p

I like the people knocking it... id bet none of them have even fired one to see if the difference is "Worth it"...

Ergonomics changed, weight, asthetics, match barrel, overall better fit and finish... and hey, the increased mag capacity is just a bonus if you live in a free state.

I love the XD's both M and original

My reason however for wanting one badley is because I am told I cannot have one

I love my XD 40 tactical and would love to have a XDm. That said, I would rather wait til I move to another state before I pay over inflated prices for one here. 550. That's my offer.

It will probably be my first non-roster handgun - $600.

I'd go 700. But seriously, the only reason I want that gun is because of the case it comes in.

EDIT - Yea, I think i changed my mind, I'm just going to buy the case instead and put my XD in it.

i want one because I'm restricted from having one.
