I seem to remember someone posted a link for a C&R faq here. It was more of a make sure you do this and don’t do that, than an faq. It warned about a mistake that many people make on one of the forms.
Tried the search function and couldn’t find it. Did come across a post talking about RK Enterprises (http://www.rkffl.com/) , sounds like it is worth the $30.
Anyone know what link I am looking for or have any advice?
Thanks…

You can download the forms you need from the ATF website. On the website are the rules & regs, and your government will send you a ton of info right after you get a license.

Spending another $30 for what's already out there and free is like the ads in SGN that sell you CMP info...everything you need is in the public domain, no sense paying somebody to make it more complicated than it is.

Many people who downloaded the application forgot to include the Certification of Compliance. (The form where you certify that you are a citizen) That's because the Certification of Compliance is relatively new and many web sites don't mention it in their instructions.

When you order the application from BATFE, they will include both forms.

Is that the common mistake you were thinking of?
