I believe it's still on the list, if you check.

BTW, Just get a regular 226r and put some houge rubber grips on it. You'll save yourself some $, have a sig you won't mind shooting, and you'll be happier anyway.

I wasn't fond of the sig when I handled it in the store, and I'm not fond of the 9mm round.

Aren't these regular p226 but with some blackwater markings? I'm not sure so someone correct me if I'm wrong.

/\/\/\ Yes, and some extra mags thrown in.

It also holds 20 rounds.

/\/\/\ Yes, and some extra mags thrown in.

Plus the fancy grips. :)

Huh?

It comes with 15 round magazines (10 round in CA).

Aside from that, you have made me confused. You like the Blackwater, but you don't like the "sig" or 9mm.

But the blackwater is a sig and is 9mm, just like the regular 226.

So, huh?

Reading the review in a magazine I had it sorta grew on me. I didn't care much for the sigs I saw in the store, this one looks nice.

Sorry, the tactical Blackwater has the 20 round mags.

it should still be on the list and summit gun broker had these for a while back for under $1000 with 5 10 rd mags.

Waste of money.
It's no different than a regular 226, but has some eye candy on it. Big deal

It looks pretty much like the regular 226r, except for the grips to me. But I'm glad you found a sig you may like.

They are fun handguns to shoot, IMO. I haven't tried a sig I haven't liked, yet.

I'm pretty sure a 20rd mag is not going to sit flush like that.

Here's the tactical one with a 20 round mag...

Sigs are teh sick. Agreed: this is no different than a regular 226R. And you can get it in CA; just not with the higher cap mags they come with.

Your picture is the old Blackwater - which is stupid (overpriced for just extra mags and NS).

The new one has the tactical grips and the x-tra-cap mags. Nice set-up for the free world.

Yeah, I had the wrong picture up... The new one is the one I read about and like from the locks and so forth.

It's humorous to see Sig produce and market a new gun despite the fact Blackwater "technically" no longer exist.

The old model is on the list but the newer model known as the black water tactical is not and never will be, even heard it direct from a Sig Rep.

For the newer model it has a beaver tail like the Elite's, custom grips for the 4 (20 round mags to sit flush), SIGLITEŽ rear night sight, a TRUGLOŽ Tritium Fiber Optic front sight, a short trigger, and the SRT trigger job from the factory.

Not bad except the stupid beaver tail.

It is a modded out 226 but nothing you couldn't already do to a regular 226, except maybe the front cerations.

I enjoy the looks of guns, which is a big fctor when I buy. But I would never pay more for a look.

For example the P226 and the P226 Navy. You can get the Navy cheaper and with 3 mags rather than one mag.

hmmm, will those 20 round tactical mags fit any 226? i have some 15 rounders that i wouldn't mind rebuilding into 20's

how much do they stick past the stock mag well?

What's even funnier is that BW sends their boys out with Glock 19's not Sigs.
