Awesome Kimbers guys. I do enjoy them myself... probably my favorite production 1911.

Here's my pre-series II Classic Royal with... well, I don't remember the round count. :)

It is based on many years of experience from those who do battle with the BAD PEOPLE every frigging day & night. Not to mention the training I attended while in the employ of Uncle Sams service ok. Now I do carry a LED light but NOT on the end of my pistol savvy!;) :)

Here's mine in off duty green/black. Never seen one like it, I had to have it.

Thanks for not giving any specific details or an explanation of you previous posted opinion.

For a HD gun A weapon light will not put me in any harm. Im not in a field illuminating my position or trying to ambush an advisory, Im broadcasting that I have a gun and I can see you. Im not clearing buildings or running down the street flooding homes with my white light. I also do not have night vision gear nor can I see in the dark. What would be the difference between a handheld light or one mounted on the weapon. Are you not suppose to alway point your gun where you are looking. Wouldnt the light always be in front of your eyes anyways?

I think Ill keep the light.
