It seems to read JB.

They are very high quality stainless mags, clearly .45 ACP for 1911. No other markings.

The bumper pads on the mags were made by Jim Boland, he was an extremely talented gunsmith back in the 80's and 90's.His shop was located in the San Fernando valley, but he moved around several times before he passed away 6 or 7 years ago.

Here's a photo of an old business card I found.

CamW, thanks for solving the mystery. The mags are very high quality, so it seemed unusual that nobody knew who made them. The collective intelligence of Calguns is all seeing, all knowing.

Do you have a side view photo of the magazines and a photo of the followers?Are they 7 or 8 shot?I'll ask a couple of shooters I know that own Boland guns if he sold magazines with his pistols.
