We did more hunting near Fresno when our family had a farm out there. Imagine 4 kids between 10 and 12 walking down the street with shotguns and bags of doves http://calguns.net/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Ground squirrels with air rifle head/eye shots and Jack Rabbits with .22's (bricks happily given to us from the vineyard guys) were standard fare.

City life and more people population means driving 45 minutes to a friends farm just to pop tree squirrels.

Now we're lucky if we make it out twice a year... that reminds me, the new hunting license year is only two months away.
