Went into Turners in Pasadena, looked at their inventory, sales guys didn't say a word and walked out with nothing.

No FUD, no bad customer bantering, no BS....a perfect world.

I've had plenty of good experiences at Turners. Much more good then bad over the years.

My experience at Turner's at Orange has been great for years. Go in and ask for Fred.

Did a private party transfer at the Orange Turners and had great friendly service. I have even bought ammo there!

Hmm, I walked in the Orange location twice.

Once when I was looking for a hand gun(all they had were consignment Sigs and Glocks[2 of them >.<]).

The second time when I wanted ammo, but all they had were 9, 22 and a bunch of shotgun shells >.<

I'll keep that in mind though... about Fred.

Just went into San Brdo Turner's today. They actually had some guns in the showcases this time. Took forever to get someone to tell me that they didn't have XD40 mags, though. Guy behind the conter was too busy measuring Mr. Johnson with customer. Both were trying to one up each other with their knowledge of pistols. Nice to see some weapons on the shelf and ammo to buy.

How much does Turner's charge for a PPT? I know there's a state mandated max regarding dealer fees for PPTs, but I'm not sure exactly what the total is. Thanks in advance!

$35 total

$25 for federal fee
$10 for their fee

West Covina has always had a good crew, Chris is one of the managers and he's helped us out countless times before we bought just one pistol! There was only one larger fellow with dark hair that snapped at me after requesting service. I'll give it to him that they had the counter lined shoulder to shoulder with customers that were mostly just oogling, but we wanted to buy... he should've realized why we were being persistent. I haven't seen him since.

Also, the chino hills crew has always been friendly and I've only done ppts there.
