Just bought an M96 recon, later edition, and would like to possibly put a scope on it. Saw one by DGS? on Ebay but lost the bid and couldn't figure how to attach it. Any suggestions?

I'd like to buy the M 96 short rail or long, either would be fine with me. I called Robinson and e-mailed them last week, was told I'd get a call back but got nothing. No response - I guess they don't want my $$$?

Robinson no longer makes a scope rail for the m96. But Kaiser does, SEE LINK (http://thekaiserworks.com/products/m96.php)

Robinson doesn't have them anymore, and in my experience they don't seem interested in selling anything to do with the M96. I bought Kaiserwork's rail, and it worked out just fine for me.

The 96 I'm buying has their older short version already on it, I do like the Kaiser but don't need the rear sight as I already have a few AR types that can mount. I'm sure it's a fine set up, but I was having a little trouble talking myself into even the $149.00 version from Robinson

Picked up the rifle today, looks nice so what the hell - might as well go top tier and order away. Signed up for GunPal too.
