Thanks for the bump, lots of flakes responding to this ad. Not a credit to the character of the marketplace.

I think all flakes should get negative feedback, if all of the ""I'll take it" rules are followed. Let other sellers know.

Keep in mind, you're not helping the marketplace either by not leaving appropriate feedback for them.

If the said I'll Take It and don't end up buying, negative iTrader should be posted.

Let me guess....New member with 0 posts and join date is Aug 2009?

problem is if you put neg feedback on them, they will do it to you, ruining your perfect score of 100% as retribution

Report them to the Mods so they can take appropriate action.

Yeah, Mods can fix retaliatory feedback. At least that's what they said.

There was a pretty good thread going about the unwritten "I'll take it" rules. Bottom line seemed to be Mods don't want to do anything about it. Also, general consensus seemed to be flakes are to be left NEUTRAL feedback unless you're actually out money or significant time.

OP, sorry you had to go thru it. Join the club.

Guys, I'm not posting negative feedback because the buyers have not wasted my travel time or cost me any money. Other than the potential of an earlier sale to someone who would honor their commitment to buy, it has only been an annoyance and not a serious inconvenience. These people are not noobs to Calguns, which is frustrating. You would think that established members would behave better.

And if you give negative feedback, the mods will just change it anyway.

It is just a shame that flakes make a seller want to pull their sale.

I've run into a lot of this "flakey activity" lately. There's a lot of people who want to beat around the bush for hours PM'ing different payment options and/or trades. They will say anything to get me to drop my price to something ridiculous and then reply with "Wow that's a great price, I will take it, now all I've gotta do is work out how to get there!" OR "Let me try and gather some cash first." OR "If you give me your # MAYBE I can come take a look at it in a few weeks."

I'll offer to ship and they politely decline. I offer to hold the item until payment is made and they'll say something like "Well if you can sell it to someone else... go ahead." And then you never hear from them again.

Just a small annoyance. I don't knock people trying to get a good deal through PM's, and working a deal - but when they do it just for kicks and really have no intention on purchasing your items - it gets old.

Good luck brother!
