P226 FBINA / Stainless Steel, Alloy Pistol 4.4" .40 S&W 3/19/2010

I can assume the obvious as to what it might say, but I don't recall ever seeing any of these before? Special engravings?

The question being:

Have you seen this model before?
If so, do you have pictures?
Do you know if/how it differentiates from other Sig models. i.e does it have special engravings. etc.

Thanks

Just a guess....Could be FBI National Academy, which is a pseudo-FBI academy session attended by management-level police from throughout the country. Maybe the gun is offered for sale to graduates at a range store at the FBI Academy, or special order from Sig.

Tried to do a blow-up of the specs...

Sorry it is so hard to read, I D/L'd this pic from a FBINA newsletter.

This.

I've handled one, it was a typical dressed up 229. Nothing too fancy, and absolutely pointless unless you were a FBINA grad. As a matter of fact, I didn't like it. Something about the two tone finish and the wood grips with gold medallion... just too much going on.

Also, the agent was not very polite and had no idea what she was doing with regards to transferring the pistol to herself from the FBINA (and tried to make it out as though I was the one who didn't know what was going on). i.e. "I did one of these 4374y thingies in Quantico, I don't have to do this here. I'm a federal agent. Just give me my gun, you're wasting my time."
