The fit and finish is very good. I had zero issues during the build which was nice. I bought the lower several months back and since I knew it would be in storage for a while I put a real good coating of oil on it and left it stored in my safe until I got around to assembling all the parts a couple of weeks ago.

Just curious, why did you "put a real good coating of oil on it"?

I think it needs a bigger scope! LOL

Just something I do when I know a firearm is going to sit for a while.

A very good looking shooter, About the oil, I just asked because I assume the lower is Alum. and not subject to rust. Was wondering (because you have built more AR's than I) if it helped in the assembly or changed the color. Did the lettering come filled in or did you do that?

It maybe just me but it seems to bring the color out a little more and does help with assembly but I add more oil during that process exspecially for the roll pins. I did all the color fill myself.
