Don't forget the Choate stock, another designer imposter.

LMT wasn't the original designer either.

There are a lot of people out there that want to play with guns, and want what "looks" cool. Look at all the FDE junk out there.

I doubt RRA is taking market share from LMT

yup, I believe missiontrails brought this up a few weeks ago.....its cheaper than LMT/Crane.

I'll stick with my LMT SOPMOD though.

That is a nicely priced alternative. If I were taking my rifle into combat I'd have the LMT but for 99% of recreational shooters this is fine. It's far better than an airsoft ripoff.

Yes, Dave Armstrong of NSWC-Crane.

Junk = stuff, not necessarily commenting on quality. I see lots of it out there. It's just for ****s and giggles most of the time. I'm not critisizing people who like it. I'm criticizing the people who have to have the latest/greatest commando gear to play dress up, but scoff at others who want a cheaper alternative to do the same.

I'm sure TAPCO does too.

That looks very nice - a good value for people who dont want to spend big $$ for a SOPMOD or EMOD.

Personally, it reminds me more of teh HK stock than it does the LMT stock.

And when did RRA fall into the same quality category as Tapco???

Well see, the great thing about the EMOD though is that you can change your cheek weld if you like. Large to small..

Ive got an EMOD on my Noveske and I do like it. However I've not seen anyone run one without the battery tubes yet.

It uses a commercial buffer tube and it's the same price as a CTR, std VLTOR and $30 less than an EMOD.

I wouldn't buy it.

I do. I ran it with the Tubes at first but changed it up instead of going with a CTR...

The EMOD is good for solid and light rifle builds, and even with the battery tubes its still significantly lighter in weight than the SOPMOD.

Just to add, the LMT sopmod is based on the 80's Colt ACR stock - I am kicking myself for not picking up a Colt ACR rifle kit when they where available :(
