Hi there,

I'm looking for a stock to put on my new 20" rifle build besides the typical A2 stock and was looking at the various VLTOR models. In particular, I'm looking at the Clubfoot Modstock. Does anyone have any experience with that stock?

Thanks,
Chris

For a 20" rifle, go with the EMOD. A little more beef, and it already has a nice buttpad.

Love my EMOD. Viltors site has a pic of a 20 inch with the emod on it. Looks cool.

Go EMOD with that rifle for sure.

I have one of these on my AR10.....I like it.

I have since got an A2 tube so it fits flush with the receiver....but it works with both rifle and carbine tubes.

I have 2 EMODs and I like them so far. Rock solid and about the right weight.

Thanks for the replies so far. This might sound like a stupid question but what is the tube on the side for?

love the VLTOR better than my pillow! FYI, its a milspec buffer tube so you may have to change buffer tubes if you have a commercial tube, with a RRA stock for example

the tube is a compartment for batteries for optics or other.

for a 20" build definitely go Emod or their rifle length stocks. The clubfoot stock you mentioned is a lot smaller than you would think it is and would look tiny in comparison with the rifle. I have a standard carbine stock on a 20" build and that looks and feels small at well (I had it laying around as spare parts from a different build. Will be replaced eventually) I would recommend an ACE stock for a 20"build, or a UBR if you want collapsible. Emod would be cool too.
