Anybody ever seen one? Seems like a neat bit of history. Wrap up the
early Garand caliber, the M14 geometry and the M16 mechanisms.

The build would probably have to on the longer action of the AR 10 vs.
AR 15.

I dont know the specs of the case, but im sure a rebarrel of a ar-10 and a refacing the bolt and maybe magazine mods it will work. But like I said, I dont know the specs of the case.

You would definitely have to use an AR-10 style rifle if you wanted to shoot .276 Pederson. I don't see why you couldn't do it. You'd just have to get a barrel chambered for the cartridge, and load all your own ammo (somehow). You would probably also need a custom bolt made. In other words, a huge investment.

The 6.8mm Remington SPC is, ballistically, very close to the .276 Pedersen, with similar bullet diameter (.272 vs. .284), slightly lighter bullet (115 vs. 140), and a significantly higher muzzle velocity (2600fps vs. 2400fps).
