I'm thinking of going to the gun show in Reno
in a couple of weeks.
Got a rifle I'm thinking of selling, what hoop's would I need to jump though if I was to find a buyer in Reno.

Hylander...

You probably already know you can't sell directly to another person in Calif (due to CA law) without going thru an CA FFL dealer.

You also can't sell to another person outside CA due to Federal law.

In order to sell your firearm(s) at, say, Reno show, you will have to use an intermediating FFL. Your buyer may well be able to buy 'instantly' thru the FFL, but it will have to go thru an FFL there.

You're ok in the prk without a licensee in the middle of the deal if the rifle is 50 years or older.
