Does anyone one know if I may install a 870 bayonet-lug/magazine clamp on my 870?( It used to be marketed by scattergun inc.) My shotgun has an extended magazine and a straight stock. While I'm at it, may I combine the Knoxxs SpecOps stock, mag ext., and the bayonet lug?

If I'm allowed to do all of the above, my last question is: Where can I get the bayo/mag clamp? Thank in advance. Hank

870 is a pump-action not a semi-auto, so you can add all those evil features if you so desire!

My Mossberg 590 came with a bayonet lug, but I don't know if it has any kind of practical uses. I bought a Bayonet for mine, just because it is funny; I call it my zombie gun now. If zombies ever try to invade my house I can fix bayonet and go to town when the ammo runs out http://calguns.net/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Thanks for the reply. The reason want this mount is because it provides extra support for the extended mag. tube. I remember seeing a picture of a U.S. Marine or Solider with this set up and an top folding Remington stock. Does anyone know where I can get one? Hank

Ah, if you're talking about one of those milspec 870 bayonet mounts, I recall reading that they are hard to find and sell for a premium... (IIRC)
