Hey guys can i get a little help in choosing a rifle? I was wondering pros and cons of these 2 rifles as far as accuracy, quality and upgrades. Would it be worth it to buy a saiga and convert it for a more AK look. any input would be helpful

Having both, I like my stock Saiga better than my WASR10. Much smoother action and a lower comb on the stock which is more comfortable for me to shoot. But, if you plan on reloading your brass, the Saiga has a funky chamber that will work the brass more in the neck area than the WASR10 will.

The Russians have been building the same rifle in the same factory for nearly 60 years. The Romanians have been building a cut price version of the same rifle in Cugir for a fraction of that time. Most WASRs are imported with 10rd single-stack magazines (to get around import regs) then the mag wells are opened up by the minimum wage "gunsmiths" at Century Arms to accept double-stack hi-caps. Century Arms are not reknown for their gunsmithing skills.

The added bonus is, a Saiga won't come with cant front sights, where as a WASR is more likely to.
