View Full Version : First time with a semi-auto

Last weekend I took a friend of mine to the range. It was her first time shooting a semi-auto handgun (Sig P226). She did great! In fact, she is now applying for her Concealed Carry Permit!
I posted a video of her shooting at: http://gunvideos.blogspot.com/2009/06/girl-shooting-sig-p226-pistol.html
Nice! I have the same gun, love it!
It looked like she got more comfortable with the recoil as the video went on :) Good for her!

I have had that gun for quite a while. I am certainly a Sig fan!
You are exactly right about her getting more comfortable with it. I think she ended up going through approx 200 rounds. That video was probably taken within the first 50.

What, no pic of the target??? Congrats to her for adding yet another talent to her ever-evolving resume.

You do realize that you have to go shopping with her for more stuff, right? Lol...

You know... I don't think that a trip to buy more shooting supplies would bother me TOO much...

Check out those guns. I bet she could knock a guy out with those before ever having to draw :)
PS My first time ever posting in the female section of Calguns. :D
