All of the custome work is mostly internal such as custome trigger assembly, smooth trigger face, polished trigger componants, 4lb pull and the only external addition it the houge grip. I did all the work myself. Let me know what you think. I will post more pics of my range targets when I get back after this weekend.
Thanks and show me your custome XD or glock. I'm thinking about doing my glock next.

What trigger kit did you use?

I used a springer kit. I love it. I polished all the contact points on the trigger bar and I can feel a huge difference.

How long did it take you to do the trigger work? I am thinking of getting the trigger on my XD springerized, and am debating whether to send it in or do it myself.

The XD is the easiest trigger I have ever done. Even a glock is more complicated then the XD. It took me about 1hr to do all the trigger work including the polishing. Just the trigger would be about 20-30min at the most. Very simple and there are not a lot of parts that need to be taken out to get it done either so it makes remembering where everything goes a sinch! I will even do the trigger for you if your in socal. Let me know if your interested, I'm in ventura county.:batman:

Here is the latest pics of my XD. I changed the color to tan as you can see. I wanted to do something a little different so instead of leaving the whole sights black I left just the faces black. It was one of the best ideas I've had in a while. The sights are so much easier to see and the contrast between the slide and the sight face makes it easy to get them lined up again. I left all the controls black as well. Let me know what you think!!
Thanks

it's kinda cool painted. what did you use? did you ever think about two-toning it or something? that would've been cool too. if you polished the trigger and such, i'm sure you could have done the slide. that would've been awesome.

I thought about doing a two tone but I love the combat look the tan gave it and the black controls. I fell in love with this look when I saw a fellow calgunners post of his HK that had the same paint job. I used krylon camo paint and it turned out really nice with an awesome finish. I know someone will probably say I should have used dura coat but this was faster easier and a lot cheaper and the paint is very durable.
I might change it in the future and thats another thing about this paint thats cool is its easy to remove or change.
