Turner is selling Glock 17 for $519. That's the best local dealer price I have seem since election. I hope it's not a typo, anyways if you are a Glock fan, this is a great deal.

Other state's shoot have claim ammo have been back on shelves including wal marts. We might just at the end of this drought.

I was in the Pasadena store yesterday and they had 5 or 6 Glocks and an XD or two on display. Not much ammo though.

If Turner's could have guns to sell in their displays, then it probably is over.:p

I think ammo availability will be better in a few months, but considering that it started a few months late, we won't see the price drop until the end of fall, or even winter.

Decent prices but seeing that I can get a Glock 17, 19, 22 or 23 brand new for $501 each, tax free on base, I'll stick to that for all of my Glock needs.

They do list Glock 22RTF though.

The Glock 17RTF2 is not on the approved list.

I hope it's not a typoOddly enough, I was at a shop last week (El Cajon Gun Exchange) where they had some deal for an AR style .22 rifle plus a bulk pack of ammo for $29.95 - When I asked her to pinch me to see if I was dreaming, she snagged the sign and remarked it at $229.95. Needless to say, she wasn't at all interested in honoring the advertized price of the gun :P

I'm pretty sure this is legit though, lets hope its finallllly over.

No, more like all the people freaking-out are out of money, so now the rest of us can shop. Let's just hope that ammo scheme doesn't pass or CA will never see full shelves of ammo again.

They seem to. I was just over at the Turner's in Signal Hill a week ago, and they had several Glocks under the counter. A few weeks earlier, the whole cabinet was empty except for the fugliest/weirdest handguns.

Ammo was still slim pickin's though--no handgun ammo of any caliber. Just a few rifle calibers and lots of shotshells.

holy crap, i didnt even notice that the glock was so cheap! I mean that is cheaper then preobamanation. Too bad ammo is still hard to find. Their just expensive paperweights at this point :(

Same thing at the turners in fountain valley! They actually had an OD green Glock 19! Along with a bunch of other glocks and some PMC 250 round yellow boxes of 9! Things definitely are looking on the up and up!!!

Stores appear to be better stocked, but every time I go in one they are still busy, and a gal we know that does the paperwork for a local store says she had been really busy, so I think people are still buying. The local shop that has a indoor range has not had ammo for their rentals for weeks. Finding ammo appears to still be a issue, but hope that is resolved soon.

I have the feeling the ammo situation plays into this as well -- After all, what good is a gun if you can't find any ammo (or affordable practice ammo) for it? I've held off on a lot of gun purchases lately for that reason. I want a Glock, but it's just going to sit in the safe unfired, since ammo is so hard to come by.

The NEW Turners Owners have different distributors. Old management had issues with distributors.

I think you'll start to see more product at better prices.

Last time I was in Turners in San Marcos, they had Nuttin! I'll have to go back and see what they have now.

I stopped in at my local walmart the other day at around 1:30 pm. Picked up 6 boxes of Blazer Brass 40S&W. I'm hoping things are getting better.

If you're gonna steal anything, steal a Kobe four ring T-shirt. Those things are bringing a buck-and-a-half on Ebay!

I think the frenzy is dying down before supplies can catch up. I'm still waiting on a couple AR10 uppers from armalite and the excitement to build 2 AR10s is subsiding, but definitely will complete one. You can see some nicely built AR15s in the ads for $1K or less. Get ready for the next frenzy when Prez O says here's the bill that will be the mother of all permanent ban.

I hope the new owners of Turners will adjust their sales staff's attitude as well as their ridiculous over redundant paperwork policy and BS 30 day consignment policy. oh and their outrageous PPT wait time and price.

if they can do all that, Turners will turn profitable, if not, it will continue it's down slide into bankruptcy.

30day wait thinbg to sell a consignment I believe may be law. The extra paperwork thing is extremely retarded and causes me to do a bit less business with them. I have not done a PPT with them since like 2002, too many attitudes and F ups. As for attitute, I doubt that will change and it is included in sale price for free it seems.

I have had 2 PPT's at Turner's in Pasadena in the last 3 months. Absolutely no problem, no attitude, just courteous.

Other CalGunners with exemplary I Trader ratings were part of the transactions.

Range? I don't even think I remember where the range is...if I didn't make it a point to fondle my guns at least on a weekly basis, I'd forget how they work.

Since Turner's hasn't been able to sell any heat for the last 3 or 4 months, they have had plenty of time for PPT's and such. I just picked up a handgun I found on consignment in May at 4:45 pm this wednesday and they told me it was the first and only firearm out the door that day.

Unfortunately this seems to be the except and not the rule but to be fair I have not done a PPT personally there in years and not since the Turners shelves have been bare and most employees have been standing around with little to sell.

No, people just ran out of money. The frenzy will be over when ammo is no longer rationed at major retailers or instantly worth 2x what you paid for it.
