Do you buy guns/supplies/ammo/gear online?
Any suggestions?

Some places I've shopped at are:
Brownells.com
OutInStyle.com
BrigadeQuartermaster.com
Cabelas.com

For ammo, I like www.outdoormarksman.com (http://www.outdoormarksman.com).
For other stuff:

www.cdnninvestments.com (http://www.cdnninvestments.com)
www.cheaperthandirt.com (http://www.cheaperthandirt.com)

And ebay, for all that they suck and are anti-gun, can be a great source for used holsters and optics at good prices, if you look patiently.

Ditto on Botach.

I like natchez but they have a minimum handling fee of a few $, which I am completely against their charging. It should be part of the price.

I do like their sale prices. When ordering take that into account and make it a full order.

Lots of people have had bad experiences with them, generally on back-ordered merchandise. I've bought a number of things from them (flashlights, boots, training knives, batteries, leather) with no problems, but it's always been something from their sale emails.

I recently ordered a few things from them that weren't from the emails, so I'll see how it works out. I did try to call first to verify if they were in stock, and no one answered the phone, which is a typical Botach story...

Botach eblasts promote sale items they either have in very limited supply or don’t have at all. After ordering, they let you wait for as long as you are willing to before calling them to find out what happened to your order. When you finally are actually able to talk to a warm body, they lay a bunch of excuses on you and attempt to up-sell you to another item or sell you remotely related surplus; a classic bait and switch operation. I had an email trail and telephone call log that demonstrated they were flat-out lying to me. It was the only leverage I had to cancel my pending order and credit my card.

www.midwayusa.com (http://www.midwayusa.com) - I buy from these guys all the time. Their prices are okay, but since they usually have everything, you can save on shipping. They have the best layout for their website, very user friendly. Their customer services is top notch, the best in the business, IMO.

www.cdnninvestments.com (http://www.cdnninvestments.com) - Great place, fast shipping. Usually good prices on magazines. Website is alright and customer service is excellent.

www.cheaperthandirt.com (http://www.cheaperthandirt.com) - Sometimes they have good prices and they're a good source for magazines for surplus pistols. Most of their catalog is useless old military crap and their website sucks, but they ship fast and will fix problems should they occur.

www.jgsales.com (http://www.jgsales.com) - good source for you C&R types. Rifles, ammo, magazines. Good people to deal with.

www.aimsurplus.com (http://www.aimsurplus.com) - same as above. One time I ordered parts for my SKS and they shipped the wrong thing. Called them. They told me to keep the parts they originally shipped and they overnighted the correct parts. No extra charge. Can't beat that kind of treatment.

I buy my 1911 parts from Midway or Brownells most of the time, bought a slide and grip safety from www.shooterconnection.com (http://www.shooterconnection.com) one time, their prices are good.

I went down to Botac to buy a Surefire M6 since they had a good price on it but when I got there I was treated like dirt. I thought hey I'm getting a deal so I waited the more than thirty minutes it took them to find one, but than I saw that my local gun store had them for only $5 more. http://www.calguns.net/banghead.gif

Worst attitude was from a little guy who wears a yamaka. I think these guys are orthodox Jews and claim some kind of Israeli connection. Either way I felt I needed a shower after leaving their store, which appears to be a converted bank a stones throw from South Central LA.

My opinion, life is too short to screw around with guys like this, from here on I will pay the extra few dollars and be treated with respect.

Wow..after hearing some horror stories about Botac I'll just go to another online store rather than taking a chance.

by far the #1 in customer service is...
http://estore.odcmp.com/Store/catalog/catalog.aspx

other than that, I've shopped most the others mentioned here except Impact & Botac(which I've never heard of until now.)

I like:
Wholesale Guns & Ammo (gunsnammo.com)
ammoman.com
cheaperthandirt (only because their PMC is the cheapest)
AIM
e-gunparts (sometime hit & miss, good for the most part though)

ebay
gunpartsguy(.com?)
ammunitionstore.com
midway
Cole Distributing Inc
J&G Sales / jgsales.com

just ok:
sportsmansuply (only because they won't ship half their stuff to Ca!)

CDNN Investments (only because they won't ship any handguns to Ca!! ) damn good prices too!

F A C Inc / gunsnstuff.net
(only because they are out of half the stuff they advertise.) they are very friendly though.

crap:
I actually have not had any really bad online transactions to rate any I've used this bad)
