So, I see on budsgunshop that the 220 Combat WITH the threaded muzzle is apparently legal in CA? Is this true or just a typo? Thanks in advance.

I pasted the link to the page:

Negative. In CA that is an AW....you can have the combat without the threaded barrel though.

HAHA soooo true, unfortunatly...The 220 Combat is a sweet pistol i would get it. Even if you could have the threaded barrel you couldnt even get the suppressor anyways! lol

Still, the extended/threaded muzzle looks kinda cool even without a can. :D

Thanks again.

I have a P220 TB. In preperation of moving to California can I simply purchase a non threaded barrel for this handgun and it will comply with state laws? Or does its compliance go off of the serial number. Do I find a dealer here to transfer the handgun to another dealer in California or do I keep my gun and simply fill out this form once i move. http://www.ag.ca.gov/firearms/forms/pdf/ab991frm.pdf

Thanks for the advice!

the TB is illegel however top gun sells OEM Sig barrels that are not threaded and you will be fine with one of those...also EFK Firedragon ported barrels are pretty sweet on the Combat..had one on mine and now I am kicking myself for selling it
